Marine geological maps of the Campania region (Southern Tyrrhenian Sea, Italy): Considerations and contributions to a different scale of geological survey

Marine geological maps of the Campania region have been constructed both to a 1:25.000 and 1:10.000 scale in frame research projects financed by Italian National Geological Survey, focusing, particular, on Gulf Naples (Southern Tyrrhenian Sea), complex volcanic area where sedimentary processes strongly interacted during Late Quaternary Cilento Promontory offshore.
